Algeria, Turkey sign Joint Declaration of 2nd session of High-Level Cooperation Council

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed Tuesday, in Algiers, the Joint Declaration of the 2nd session of the High-Level Cooperation Council between the two countries.

The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the presidency of the Republic after the discussions between the Presidents Tebboune and Erdogan, on the occasion of the Turkish President’s official visit to Algeria.

The two presidents signed the Joint Declaration of the 2nd session of the High-Level Cooperation Council between the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Republic of Turkey, together with the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding covering various fields of cooperation between the two countries.

The Turkish president had started, earlier today, an official visit to Algeria where he co-chaired with President Tebboune the works of the 2nd Algerian-Turkish High-Level Cooperation Council.
