Mr. Attaf takes part in opening session of 51st OIC Foreign Ministers Council

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, participated on Saturday morning, in Istanbul, in the opening session of the 51st Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
During the opening ceremony, “Turkiye took the presidency of the OIC Ministerial Council succeeding Cameroon, and the opening session was marked by the participation of the President of the Republic of Turkiye, brotherly country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who delivered an address on this occasion.
This two-day session will be marked by the organization of a special session on the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the examination of the main current issues in the Islamic world, at the forefront of which is the Palestinian cause, which also faces growing challenges against the backdrop of the continuous genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
