H.E. Mr. GUENNAD presents his credentials in Ashgabat

H.E. Mr. Boumediene GUENNAD presented, On 29 July 2026, in Ashgabat, his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Turkmenistan, with residence in Ankara, to Ms. Dünýägözel Akmuhammedovna Gulmanova, Chairperson of the Mejlis, the Parliament of Turkmenistan.

Previously, H.E. the Ambassador had presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Ms. Myahri Byashimova.

On both occasions, particular emphasis was placed on the need for regular contacts between the two countries' foreign ministries, as well as on the importance of strengthening the legal framework for cooperation between the two States.

The promotion of friendly political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as the intensification of bilateral cooperation in potential areas of cooperation, were also discussed.
