Announcement for Foreign Journalists Wishing to Cover the Algerian Legislative Elections on July 2, 2026

In preparation for the National People's Assembly elections scheduled for July 2, 2026, the Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in Ankara hereby informs all foreign professional journalists and media representatives wishing to cover this electoral event in Algeria that they may submit their applications for temporary accreditation to the Embassy no later than 20 June 2026.
Required Documents:  Applications for accreditation should be accompanied by the following documents:
- A formal request for media coverage issued by the applicant's employing media organization 
- A duly completed temporary accreditation information form, (https://ina-elections.dz/)
- A duly completed visa application form, completed and signed by the applicant ( Visa Application Form) 
- A copy of the journalist's valid professional press card.
- Two (02) recent passport-sized photographs (with a white background) in JPEG format.
- A copy of the applicant's passport.
- A detailed list of the technical and audio-visual equipment intended for use during the media coverage.
